The menu at Hatters Tea Shop is a showcase of quality and creativity. For brunch, I highly recommend the Poached Eggs on Toast (£8.95) or the rich and savory Bacon Sandwich, which are both prepared with fresh ingredients that pack a punch of flavor. The Hatters Hare Bit is another standout, designed to satisfy those mid-morning cravings. My personal favorite has to be the Avocado, Hummus, and Tomato Sandwich (£9.85), a colorful plate that balances freshness and heartiness in each bite.

But let’s not forget the bakery. The Lemon and Lavender Scone (£3.75) is a must-try, beautifully baked with just the right amount of sweetness and fragrance. Served warm with a generous helping of butter, it’s a testament to the café’s dedication to fresh ingredients—a true comfort food that evokes the essence of this quaint locale.

This has got to be the best cafe in Cromer. The food was really fresh and healthy (I did have the cooked breakfast but it was really good). The quality of the food was excellent, great sausage, fresh eggs with a lovely bright orange yolk. There were loads of customers but there was always time for the staff to check on everyone. There were a few well behaved dogs in the cafe. There is a "New Age" type of vibe and it really fits in to this lovely town. Please don't change anything.

Super service, great selection of cakes and delicious breakfasts. The eggs are really fluffy and the scones are to die for (I got mine heated which raised the bar!) Gluten and vegan options readily available.

Love this place, two of us shared a cream tea for one , which comes with 2 scones, jam, cream and coffee. Also shared the Welsh Rarebit with a tasty pickle. Really friendly staff, great choice of home made cakes. Food all looks freshly prepared. Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Came here in July for a spot of lunch and what a great find. Lovely, pleasant staff found us a great table at the front. We ordered sandwiches that were delicious and fresh.Great Coffee too. The decor gave the whole place a cozy, friendly feel. Another bonus that it was dog friendly. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Excellent food & cakes. Tea was strong enough for my other half, which never happens... Couple of errors in the ordering, one of which they spotted even before food arrived (but caused a modest delay or we'd not have known) & the other didn't matter. Service otherwise fast & efficient. As quiet as a dog-friendly & child-friendly tearoom can ever be, certainly not a problem to us, & we don't have either kids or dogs so might be at the sensitive end of the scale for such things.

Attractive tea shop with a great range of cakes, hot and cold drinks and lunch options, in a good location not far from the seafront. The lemon and lavender cake was an unusual combination and a delicious complement to morning coffee. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience all round. Fair pricing for a great quality menu.
